Finally Leaving

After long awaited paperwork, signatures, stamps, photocopies, more copies, and visits to the consulate I've finally on my way to Rome Tuesday January 16, 2007. It's been really hectic the past month due to compiling all the forms and doing some travelling within the US. Spent 8 days visiting one of my best HS friends, Mike in Vegas in the beginning of December. Had the family vacation which I tried my best to sway to go to Puerto Rico, but ended up going to L.A. Don't get me wrong I love L.A. with all the different cultures, food, nightlife, access to the coast and beaches. I've been to L.A. a few times before and I've never been to Puerto Rico. I guess that remains on the list... but neways I've got so much packed in the preceding days to my departure that I can't even think straight. I hope I get it all done and spend some QT with family and friends.
